Hank Levine, Former President and CEO of iPlace, to Deliver Keynote at 2018 StaffingTec Conference
McLean, Virginia – April 17, 2018
The 2018 StaffingTec Conference and Expo announced today that Hank Levine, Former President and CEO of iPlace, will deliver a keynote address at the event on Thursday, May 17 at the Seattle Bell Harbor International Conference Center in Seattle.
The StaffingTec conference will showcase emerging staffing trends and technologies, and is designed to help staffing industry technology decision-makers find new staffing tech solutions that drive growth. The two-day conference will feature 100 staffing tech products, 60 presenters, 35 roundtable discussions, 7 networking events, and 2 keynote speakers.
Hank’s keynote will be on gamification (using game-like elements to encourage employee participation and engagement), and how staffing firms can increase profits and scale faster by gamifying their company.
Hank said,
The millennial generation and technological advances are driving a movement to make work ‘fun.’ Corporations are successfully using gamification for customer loyalty programs, training, and employee development. But this just scratches the surface of gamification’s potential. Progressive companies are using gamification to scale their operations, align company and client goals, improve the health and wellness of their employees, and even eliminate performance reviews.
Hank will show, when properly designed, how gamification in the workplace improves employees’ job experience, and thereby increases retention and productivity. Hank spearheaded the development of a very innovative “company operations system” based on gamification. He has developed methodologies for accelerating implementation, learning, and collaboration through gamification.
When asked what would be the key takeaway from his session, Hank said,
There are different tiers of gamification. The best approach depends on the nature of the employees and on the needs and goals of an organization. So, the key takeaway from my keynote will be the dos and don’ts of how to use gamification in your company to increase profitability and create a work culture where your employees feel more engaged and in control, achieve higher levels of performance, are happier, and stay with the company longer.
Hank is the Former President and CEO of iPlace, which is widely regarded as the highest quality company providing professionally managed sourcing and recruiting services for US-based companies from India. He has more than 39 years of experience in sales, business development, marketing, and general management. He created the marketing and business strategy for six companies – four of which were acquired for a total of $92 million. Hank holds his master’s in management from the Sloan School at MIT and bachelor’s in engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
